The Real Art of Construction Management: Stakeholder Identification and Communication

Hosted by NAWIC Hartford CT Chapter 165
Originally held April 23, 2025 | Online

About the Session

For the second session in the 2025 Toolbox Talks Series with NAWIC Hartford, we built on the strong foundation from Session 1 and dove into one of the most important parts of construction management — understanding your stakeholders and knowing how to communicate with them.

Construction is not just about technical expertise. It is about knowing who is at the table, who should be at the table, and how to ensure every voice is heard and considered. In this session, we took a close look at stakeholder identification and walked through how to build a thoughtful communication plan using a real project case study.

The conversation was lively and engaging, with attendees sharing their own experiences and insights. That’s my favorite part of these talks — the chance to learn from each other in a space that encourages open discussion.
